I'm a freelance drummer, teach drum lessons, and remotely record drum tracks from my studio.

I’m a native of Los Angeles, CA, but began my professional music career in Phoenix, AZ, where I attended ASU as a jazz performance major and played locally with the band One, Tony Malaby, Sam Pilafian, Chuck Marohnic, Pete Forbes, The Hammertoes, Allsion's Halo, and many others. I lived in Boston, MA, from 1999-2001, where I played with local luminaries Two Ton Shoe, Brian Gottesman, Jigawattica, the Boston Brass, and Blasto, featuring Russ Gershon (Either Orchestra), Dana Colley (Morphine), and Mike Rivard (Club d'Elf, The Story). From 2001-2006, I lived in New York City, freelancing both live and in the studio while playing with NYC’s Year of the Mule, Marwood, Mary Gatchell, Tunnels, and Nicholas D’Amato’s Royal Society. Living in Los Angeles from 2006-2009, I was fortunate to work with Mandy Moore, Schuyler Fisk, Rachael Yamagata, Chris Stills, Ben Lee, The Format, fun., and Sing Orpheus. I’ve been a member of Phoenix, AZ’s Reubens Accomplice since 2002.

I love playing all styles of music--from rock and pop to jazz, classical, and experimental--and I'm often found performing them at home and on the road, but I pride myself on my studio work, where I’ve collaborated with Paul Ebersold (3 Doors Down, Sister Hazel, Spacehog), Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, The Pixies), Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World), Steve McDonald (Redd Kross), Clark Rigsby (Tower of Power), Chris Fudurich (Nada Surf), Mickey Petralia (Beck, Eels), and John Alagia (John Mayer, Rachel Yamagata, Dave Matthews Band), to name a few. Most recently, I recorded drums and percussion for fun.’s critically praised new release, Aim and Ignite and Schuyler Fisk’s Blue Ribbon Winner.

In late 2009, I moved to the Philadelphia, PA area, and currently work as a freelance drummer throughout the Northeast and around the world. I’ve appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Fergusen, The Martha Stewart Show, The View, and Live with Regis and Kelly. From 2011-2014, I played drums and percussion on the Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark musical on Broadway.

I proudly endorse Vic Firth drumsticks, Evans drumheads, and Istanbul Agop cymbals.
